4 Fall Activities You Can Drive to From Lebanon, PA

1. Seyfert’s Corn Maze

The iconic Seyfert’s Corn Maze on the 140-acre Seyfert Farm at 1800 East King Street right here in Lebanon started as a school project and has grown into a giant labyrinth of 14 acres and one of the largest mazes for miles and miles around. In addition to the mammoth maze,
Seyfert Farm has a mini maze for the little ones. Celebrate the fall season on a hayride through the farm or join the duck race and try to get your duck down the waterway the fastest. Test your strength in a tug of war and your aim at one of the giant slingshots.

2. The Annual Apple Cider Festival

Take a 10-mile drive to Grantville in the middle of October for the Annual Apple Cider Festival held in the H.M. Levitz Memorial Park at 28 Park Drive. There are mouthwatering fresh apple dumplings to line your stomach, a pie-baking competition that attracts the best bakers in the county, wagon rides, games, barrel train rides, face painting, a petting zoo, and of course, gallons of apple cider for sale.
Locals warn that if you’re not from these parts, it’s probably a good idea to understand the difference between apple juice and apple cider before you attend the event because the latter flows freely. So, take it easy, drink responsibly, and get home safely.

3. Choctoberfest

One of the must-do fall festivals in the region is Choctoberfest in downtown Hershey, 13 miles from Lebanon, at ChocolateTown Square on the corners of Chocolate and Cocoa Avenues. It’s a free family festival with heaps of delicious fall foods, craft beer, live entertainment, and tons and tons of chocolate. There’s the Annual Chocolate Cake Baking Contest, bands, and plenty of activities for the kids. Your pooch is also welcome to join in the festivities.

4. Pumpkin Palooza

Hershey Gardens at 170 Hotel Road in Hershey hosts the yearly Pumpkin Palooza around the end of October. It’s an enchanting event for the little ones who dress up in costume to celebrate the harvest season. The park is decorated with beautifully painted pumpkin displays, pumpkin arches, a mosaic pumpkin mural, and a one-of-a-kind pumpkin tree. Best of all, every child gets a delicious Hershey’s candy gift bag.
Get out there and celebrate the harvest season doing fun stuff with your family and friends. While you and the kids are out and about enjoying the fall festivities, swing by Bennett Buick GMC of Lebanon today for a closer look at the new vehicles on the showroom floor.
